In an attempt to keep everyone updated on the happenings at the Kargol household I am going to 'attempt' to blog. So here goes:
Mark has an opportunity to go to Haiti with Crisis Response International, a nonprofit organization in Kansas City. We met them at the Onething Conference over New Year's. At this point in time he has to raise $1200 in order to register for their trainings in March and is halfway there! If you would like to donate please contact us. Outside of this adventure he has been putting the finishing touches on a few more bike frames which are amazing of course. This is the last bunch he was going to do for cost so sorry you missed your chance to get a sweet bike at a low, low price. He's hoping to turn this into a full-time business in the future.
Simon is 26 months old and is growing in wisdom and stature everyday. He can barely put two words together when speaking but knows his whole alphabet, most of his colors, some shapes, an has started learning numbers. I wish I could say it was due to my parenting skills, but I think his daycare and Blue's Clues are responsible. Thanks Steve and Blue! He loves to draw, run around, and go swimming with mom when he has a chance.
Levi is coming up on 7 months now and LOVES to watch his older brother. He laughs at him and welcomes any attention he can get. So far, Simon has proven himself as a good role model and am hoping that trend continues. Levi weighs around 15-16 pounds and looks just like his daddy.
I am still working as an Advisor and taking classes toward my teacher's certificate for French 7-12. I will be finishing my classes this summer and student teaching in the fall. Because I already have a degree I can get hired and do student teaching at the same time, but the school district has to be ok with that. I've had some great conversations with people here in town and elsewhere so am excited to see what the Lord is going to do.
As a family, we were hoping to take our vacation over spring break in March to Utah but may have to postpone due to Mark's trip to Haiti. Haiti has been consuming our thoughts and prayers. Since I am a French speaker I have a special heart for Haiti and both Mark and I would love to welcome some orphans into our home in the future if the opportunity arises. Our friend Randy Bohlender, has an adoption agency in Kansas City and is working his tail off trying to provide as much assistance to them as possible. Keep the nation of Haiti in your prayers and pray their government would allow its orphans humanitarian parole so they can be safe and cared for until their nation gets back in order.
Blessings to you!

January 2009 Update
January is proving to be a busy month. I will be finishing samples to put in the Circle Me cloth diaper store on 31st and O Street here in Lincoln. Circle Me will be taking custom orders for my diapers as well as selling nursing covers. The only downfall is that I need to carve out a significant chunk of time to get them done! Thankfully I will be heading out of town for 4 days and will be taking my sewing machine so have high hopes of getting some things accomplished.
My custom labels have arrived and look amazing. It feels good to finally put my name on my diapers.
I am trying to get my registered domain name (fluffyfanny.com) to get pointed here to my blog and am having some slight technical difficulty. Hopefully I will get it figured out soon! Wish me luck!

Exciting News!
My diapers are going to be sold in a store here in town!!! I was contacted by a couple who will be opening a natural parenting store here in town. My rival diapers and my other custom diapers are going to be sold in their store! It's called Circle Me and can be found online here. The store is opening up in December!!
The other exciting news is that I am getting my own labels!! Pretty soon I get to sew my own label to my diapers. SO COOL! I'm a brand!
The sad part is that I am taking 3 classes along with working full-time and my sewing has gone to the back burner. I'm really sad about this right now but want to keep it going, so if you have any ideas please let me know. I'm currently finishing an order and have a few more in the hopper. I might have to call up my mom to help me out. I will be posting pictures soon of my latest creations!
